Confucius warned: “I fear the sorrow of the Ji family lies not in Zhuanyu, but within their own court walls.”

I fear the sorrow lies not in the distant state, but within the screen walls of their own house.

吾恐季孙之忧，不在颛臾，而在萧墙之内也。
