The Art of Learning: If I Show One Corner, You Must Return with the Other Three

Confucius said: If a student cannot infer the other three corners from the one I show, I will not repeat the lesson.

When I have presented one corner of a subject to any one, and he cannot from it learn the other three, I do not repeat my lesson.

举一隅不以三隅反,则不复也。
