The Peak of Virtue: Power in Abundance, Service in Humility

Confucius said: King Wen held two-thirds of the empire yet served Yin. The virtue of Zhou thus reached its highest point.

King Wen possessed two of the three parts of the empire, and with those he served the dynasty of Yin.
The virtue of the house of Zhou may be said to have reached the highest point indeed.

三分天下有其二,以服事殷。
周之德,其可谓至德也已矣。
