Confucius lamented: In this age, without flattering speech and handsome looks, it is hard to get by.

Without the specious speech of the litanist Tuo and the beauty of the prince Zhao of Song, it is difficult to escape in the present age.

不有祝鮀之佞,而有宋朝之美,难乎免于今之世矣!
