Definition:
- A good deed does not go out of the door, but an evil deed travels a thousand miles.
- News of good behaviour never gets past the door, but a scandal is heard of a thousand li away.
- Good deeds stay at home, but bad ones spread afar.
Note: This proverb describes the phenomenon where negative or scandalous information spreads much more rapidly and widely than positive news.
