Confucius said: In a small village, you may find someone as trustworthy as I am, but not as fond of learning.

In a hamlet of ten families, there may be found one honorable and sincere as I am, but not so fond of learning.

十室之邑,必有忠信如丘者焉,不如丘之好学也。
