Ragged in Daily Wear, Resplendent in Ritual Robes: Yu’s Reverence for Ceremony

Confucius said of Yu: His everyday clothes were poor, but his ritual robes and cap were of the utmost elegance.

His ordinary garments were poor, but he displayed the utmost elegance in his sacrificial cap and apron.

恶衣服,而致美乎黻冕。
