Beyond Judgment: The True Goal is a Society Without Lawsuits

Confucius said: “In hearing cases, I’m like others. But the real necessity is to make the people have no cases!”

In hearing litigations, I am like any other body. What is necessary, however, is to cause the people to have no litigations.

听讼，吾犹人也，必也使无讼乎！
