The Consequence of Inconstancy: “To Be Inconstant in Virtue is to Invite Disgrace”

Confucius cited the Book of Changes: “Inconstancy in virtue brings disgrace.”

Inconstant in his virtue, he will be visited with disgrace.

不恒其德,或承之羞。
