A Political Paradox: “If He Is So Bad, Why Hasn’t He Fallen?”

Ji Kang Zi asked: “If the ruler is so unprincipled, how is it he hasn’t lost his state?”

Since he is of such a character, how is it he does not lose his state?

夫如是,奚而不丧?
