Beyond Benevolence: Why the Deed of a Sage Daunts Even Yao and Shun

Confucius said: Why only call it virtue? It is sagehood! Even Yao and Shun struggled with this.

Why speak only of virtue in connection with him? Must he not have the qualities of a sage? Even Yao and Shun were still solicitous about this.

何事于仁,必也圣乎!尧舜其犹病诸!
