The Unwavering Duty: “Having Served as an Official, I Dare Not Fail to Report”

Confucius said: “Because I once served among the high officials, I dare not refrain from reporting this.”

Following in the rear of the great officers, I did not dare not to represent such a matter.

以吾从大夫之后，不敢不告也。
